Highlights and Memories

Showcase Performance

Enjoy the video below of our amazing solos, group pieces, duets, and incredible dancing. Many of the duets and group dances were learned remotely and staged during the festival in Miami. Dancers choreographed their own pieces, worked with their local ballet teachers to put on an incredible display of dancing, technique, humanity, and connection.

Competition Division

Dance competitions are an amazing tool for improvement. Typically this opportunity is reserved for children, but now you have the chance to compete as an adult.

Dancers have the opportunity to prepare a piece to their highest level, receive feedback from judges, and win amazing prizes!

Showcase Group Pieces

We performed two group pieces together in the final showcase. Sleeping Beauty Entrance of the Fairies en Pointe and original choreography with live musicians set to Flower Duet.

3 months before IABF, dancers received video of the different levels of choreography within each piece and selected if they wanted to join and which part they wanted to learn.

In the months leading up to IABF, dancers rehearsed on Zoom every Sunday and learned from recorded instruction and follow-along videos to learn their individual choreography.

During IABF, we rehearsed each piece to learn where to stand and how to create the formations on stage.
